H2Heat

H2Heat

The H2Heat project, in collaboration with the Canary Islands Ocean Platform (PLOCAN), aims to harness the power of offshore wind energy to produce green hydrogen as a sustainable fuel source.

H2Heat is set to revolutionise the way we generate and utilise energy by converting heat into the commercial building’s heating and hot water systems, for example in one of the hospitals in Gran Canaria. This may reduce CO2 emissions by over fifty percent, significantly contributing to their sustainability goals.

ICoRSA is leading the Dissemination, Communication work package and contributes to the State-of-the Art, the development of interventions, indicators and metrics, and policy briefs.
