UNESCO
UNESCO is the United Nations organization that promotes cooperation in education, science, culture and communication to foster peace worldwide. The Organization provides key services for its Member States, setting global norms and standards, developing tools for international cooperation, producing knowledge for public policies and building global networks of sites and institutions inscribed on its lists. Since June 2022, ICoRSA is an “NGO in official partnership with UNESCO (consultative status)”
Marie Curie Alumni Association
MCAA members have in common to benefit or have benefitted from an MSCA funding, therefore sharing a strong background in research, but their career paths are diverse and touch all economic sectors. The vibrant MCAA community brings together all career stages from all scientific disciplines, encouraging networking and cooperation, making the MCAA a forum of debate between researchers and with the society. The MCAA is a major platform for researchers to contribute to shaping science policy in Europe, providing career development opportunities and supporting the wider research community on topics affecting research and researchers’ lives. MCAA and ICoRSA have a signed Memorandum of Understanding which recognise the differences and similar goals and interests that exist between both organisations. This MoU defines the ways and channels how to support each other. MCAA and ICoRSA are consortium partners in 2 Horizon projects.
International Science Council
Since September 2022, ICoRSA is an official member of the International Science Council in the capacity of an affiliated member of the ISC. The International Science Council harnesses the universal language of science to catalyse and convene scientific expertise, advice and influence on issues of major concern to both science and society, through a unique global membership of natural and social sciences and humanities.
Eurodoc
Eurodoc is the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers. Eurodoc’s objectives are to represent doctoral candidates and junior researchers at the European level in matters of education, research, and professional development of their careers. Eurodoc and ICoRSA have a signed Memorandum of Understanding which recognise the differences and similar goals and interests that exist between both organisations. This MoU defines the ways and channels how to support each other. Eurodoc and ICoRSA are consortium partners in 2 Horizon projects.
Initiative for Science Europe
Initiative for Science in Europe (ISE) is an independent association bringing together European learned societies and scientific research organisations operating throughout all disciplines and across all research sectors. ISE supports all fields of science and technology (including the humanities and social sciences) all over Europe, involves active researchers in the design and implementation of European science policies and advocates sound independent scientific advice in the development European policies.
VITAE
Vitae is the global leader in supporting the professional development of researchers, experienced in working with institutions as they strive for research excellence, innovation and impact. It strengthens members’ institutional provision for the professional development of researchers through research and innovation, training and resources, events, consultancy and membership. Vitae and ICoRSA have joined forces in many activities. From being partners in Horizon projects, to participating in same events, supporting each other organisation and endeavour to enhance researchers and research careers. Vitae support the UK Research Staff Association which is one of the first members of ICoRSA.
RESAVER
RESAVER (Retirement Savings Vehicle for European Research Institutions) is a multi-country, multi-employer occupational pension fund, operating on a non-profit basis, specifically designed for researchers and employees working in the research and academic sectors across Europe.
Research Matters
ICoRSA joined the Research Matters campaign as an official partner, supporting its open letter calling for increased investment in research across European funding systems.
