ICoRSA have started work on the SwafS5 2018 project: GRRIP: Grounding RRI practices in research performing organisations

The project started February 2019 and is a 4 project, and budget of €1.5million.
Aim of GRRIP:GRRIP will embed sustainable RRI practices in 4 Marine and Maritime M&M research performing organisations (RPO) and 1 dual function RPO and research funding organisation (RPO/RFO) (total 5 RPO&RFO) in the M&M sectors through Action Plans (AP) for institutional and cultural change. This will be accompanied by establishing a platform for engagement with the Quadruple Helix (QH) for each RPO&RFO, and a platform for mutual learning between the 5 RPO&RFOs and QHs.
M&M Centres getting action plans are:
• MaREI, University College Cork, Ireland
• Plocan, Gran Canaria
• Wavec, Lisbon, Portugal
• EC Nante, France
• Marine science dept, Swansea University, Wales
ICoRSA is the lead partner in 2 important initial tasks:
1. State of the Art of EU projects that engage the quadruple helix (industry, academia, policy and citizens)
2. Compiling the list of stakeholders for each of the 5 M&M case study demo sites
